R1 rebuild

hi all
this is my employers project that he has decided to give his pride and joy a bit of loving after years of abuse on track days and euro trips
it is a 2005 R1 colin edwards replica
he has had the bike for about since late 2005 it has done 10k hard miles
so it is need of a little attention
here it is at the start of the strip down and also a pic on a track day

first off was removing all plastic panels .tank.exhaust .clocks and top yoke.and seat

then rad was removed due to being slighty damaged with stones

then a second swinging arm was purchased and sent off to an engineering firm to be braced and then was smoothed off and is now at the paint shop being done in satin black here is a pic off the old arm and new one in filler just before he sent it off

the ohlins shock and water catch tank removed to be cleaned and the tank repolished

shocker in the parts cleaner

all the exhaust manifold studs were removed

a little box of bit so far

phil working on the bike in the surgery

and this is how it looks so far

hope you like so far will keep you posted on the progress

Think there might be a problem with your pics towards the end?

What an awsome looking bike. That seems to be ridden like it is supposed too.
